New range of Pioneer AV receivers set to revolutionise seamless home entertainment experiences...
Pioneer's entry-level and mid-range AV receivers deliver a dynamic audio experience to your living space with the launch of their latest line of advanced Audio/Visual (AV) receivers suited for a range of fiscally discerning consumers, the Pioneer VSX-420 (pictured, above), Pioneer VSX-520,
Pioneer VSX-820,
Pioneer VSX-920
and Pioneer VSX-1020.
All of Pioneer's new models, except the entry level Pioneer VSX-420, are equipped with the latest HDMI version 1.4 and Dolby Pro Logic IIz decoding capable of providing a surreal 3D experience, are enabled to decode HD audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, as well as Dolby Pro logic IIz height channel processing. Using the optional Bluetooth Adapter from Pioneer, each model is also capable of wireless Bluetooth audio streaming to Bluetooth-enabled devices.
"Our new line of AV receivers revolutionise in-home entertainment systems with sophisticated features and integrated connectivity that allows savvy consumers to see and hear entertainment from both home and mobile devices," said Mr. Toshiharu Momotari, Senior General Manager of Sales & Marketing Group, Pioneer Electronics AsiaCentre.
Mr. Momotari added, "Our new Pioneer models provide consumers with a comprehensive entertainment control centre. Seamless digital convergence with existing digital entertainment can be integrated with the latest Pioneer technology."
Pioneer's models - the VSX-920 and VSX-1020 - with 7.1 channels offer enhanced iPhone and iPod Touch control and functionality. These models feature 'Made with iPhone ' certification and, along with the Pioneer iControl AV App, consumers are able to use their iPhone or iPod Touch to fully control the receiver.
This handy new application transforms compatible iPhone and iPod Touch devices into a fully functioning remote control for Pioneer's new range of 7.1 channel AV receivers. Both models also feature Pioneer's proprietary Precision Quartz Lock System (PQLS) and Internet Radio.
"Pioneer continues to innovate the A/V receiver category with expanded compatibility for iPhone users. The addition of Bluetooth audio streaming allows consumers to keep their phones close to them to answer calls or to select their next song without limitations of a wired connection to the receiver," explained Mr. Momotari.
All of the new 5.1 channel A/V receivers from Pioneer - VSX-420, VSX-520 and the VSX-820 - feature proprietary audio enhancement whilst the VSX-820 has room calibration technologies that digitally elevate the sound quality experience of compressed audio.
Advanced Sound Retriever (ASR) enhances compressed audio files by restoring critical data from iPhone, iPod and other portable media players; delivering a robust music experience that is near CD quality. Auto Level Control (ALC) technology ensures consistent listening from all entertainment by equalising fluctuating volume levels across digital audio tracks, and television channels that can cause unexpected disruptions to the entertainment experience.
At the pinnacle of the entry range, the Pioneer VSX-820 offers Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration (MCACC). MCACC intelligently analyses the speaker configuration within the audio space and then optimises each one to balance out any room-induced acoustic inaccuracies to provide an optimal, customised sound and music experience for any home theater space. The Pioneer VSX-820 is also the only 5.1 A/V receiver of the trio to feature 'Made for iPhone ' certification.
