Dog Translator

D
oes your dog bark a lot and get you all frustrated while you try to figure out if he's just bored or angry or maybe lonely? Now life would be much easier once you get a dog translator.

No it's not a joke. This gadget called the Bowlingual was invented by Takara, a Japanese toy maker, and aims to do away with the language barrier you and your dear cuddly pet face.

Attach this thingamajig to your dog's collar and it will translate its growls and yelps into a more interpretable language such as "How boring".

Are you wondering how it works? Dog noises were recorded and decoded by animal experts and stored in the gadget's data base. Once it receives the dog yelping signal, it immediately deciphers gibberish into English. Now is that technology put to good use or what?

Soon we'll have a gadget to translate English to dog-talk, and then our dogs can understand what we're saying! www.takaratoys.co.jp/bowlingual
