Art Lebedev mouseWhile computer design has changed radically since the 1980s, the look and feel of the computer mouse has remained largely unaltered. Designer Art Lebedev hopes to change that.

He's created a peripheral device that combines style and function; his mouse-pointer-shaped mouse actually fits well in the hand. The unit is the same size as a traditional mouse, although with two AA batteries (for wireless operation), it might be a tad heavier. US$40, plus shipping.

This meant black popular music became a lot more accepted. Soul and Motown were the main musical styles providing good fast music with a catchy beat which people could easily dance to.

Clubs in London picked up on the popularity of this music and started to provide venues where young working class people could go to and dance.
