ere's a computer keyboard that eschews the boring old QWERTY format in favour of a completely customizable interface.

The Ergodex DX1 Input System - Keypad - USB - 25 keys - dark blue, which was invented in Mountain View, lets users assign letters, functions or multi-key macros to each of 25 keys, which can then be placed anywhere on the open working area.

You can arrange commonly repeated tasks into the shape of your hand, or create a pattern of frequently used functions that changes with your mood. Take that, carpal tunnel syndrome!
