This must have accessory to spice everything and anything that you can hang them off. These little gems have their own names and personalities to suit your style and whatever needs you have to decorate your possessions with these figurines.

OK, now to get serious. Boys, if you need a present for your really girly girlfriend, this is it. You know, those girls that collect anything remotely cute, pink and scream I AM GIRL, hear me tinker, the ones that have something to droop off everything and those into Hello Kitty.

Sorry girls, I'm not particularly girly, or so I think, so don't mind me. I'm not mocking you, I'm just saying you're into some things I'm not. Simple.

Back to The Lovlots. They are slightly different from the usual figurines Swarovski are famous for and those that every mother owns something by him ornamented in their display cupboards, my mother included.

The Lovlots are like charm bracelets, you can collect different ones and put them together, make them into necklaces, dangle them off your phones, belts, mirrors in cars, a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g! An almost part-of-life accessory.

I don't mean to be rude, they are nice and I'll get them for my girly mates too. The site isn't particularly navigable though and it can get frustrating when you're trying to find out what different charms they have.

You keep clicking and the same thing comes up or it doesn't seem to go anywhere else, the site loads slowly and it's all too 'fufu' for me. It looks pretty and that's it, I think the site should explain these superstar characters a lot more like their press release. Really.

I'll tell you a little about them. There's Peppino, my favourite I'll admit, who is the mysterious one. He yearns to be loved yet making small boo-boos, his character stands for hidden truth and little secrets and he's a dark crystal. There's Chitchat who is always at the best parties in town and he represents joy and energy. And Robby B. is a friendly dude who symbolises youth, vitality and easiness. Funny though, how I choose the ones that embodies me! All right, maybe Swarovski got something right, there is something that everyone can relate to.

They are interesting characters and don't look too bad. I prefer the crystals as opposed to the charms but they all have their own unique quality. They do make good gifts and despite everything, I do like Swarovski crystals used in jewellery and Swarovski cut jewels that are made of glass or plastic. Swarovski is a great name when it comes to crystals so you know you're getting great quality with that brand.

So, get them, why not. Good Christmas/ birthday/ to say I love you gifts, meaningful enough for any woman of any age and some boys too. Go ahead, get charmed with The Lovlots.
